I cant recommend highly enough, been attending the studio for a few months now. Firstly with nerve issues in my shoulder & arm which neither Dr nor Physio could resolve, after a few sessions with Joan problem solved. Very professional and relaxing environment, 10 stars in my book.

A mutual friend, aware of my long-standing and troubling back and knee problems, recommended that I should consult Joan Marshall. Some of these problems had persisted despite the fact that my wife and I have, for several years, been regularly taking long brisk walks and having twice weekly gym sessions supervised by a highly qualified and competent physical trainer. Joans therapy quickly produced results. At one stage my ability to walk had deteriorated and she lost no time in recommending I seek help from an osteopath. This turned out to be superb advice as it only took one visit to an osteopath to put me back on the road to a swift recovery. Joan recommended various specialised exercises and our physical trainer has adopted these in our gym sessions to great advantage. I am conscious that all medical disciplines have their boundaries so it is particularly reassuring to know that Joan is fully aware of that fact and knew to suggest I seek an osteopaths help. I am comforted by the fact that should any problems with my back, knees or other related issues reoccur in the future, I know who to go to and that is Joan. Joan is very professional in all aspects of her work and this instils in one a huge degree of confidence. Joans studio is very well kitted out and most relaxing. She also has an excellent sense of humour so our sessions, whilst hugely beneficial, are also very enjoyable.

I had a Swedish massage yesterday and it was so incredibly relaxing. Joan had emailed me information on how she works safely within the Covid guidelines and we had a really helpful chat on Zoom pre treatment so that when I arrived I felt very safe. There is a real sense of relaxation in Joan's studio and even as I sat down I felt myself beginning to wind down. The restful colour tones, the quiet music, the calming aroma and the comfortable table with soft sheets all added to the experience. The massage itself was wonderful and I slept like a log afterwards. Even today I still feel the benefit of the massage. Joan is a real professional and a lovely lady! I can highly recommend Lavender Studio and I'll definitely be booking a regular massage from now on.
