Lovely shop with very helpful owner. I wanted a ring to temporarily replace my wedding ring & the owner showed me several items & was helpful with sizing. Highly recommended.

Unobtrusive, knowledgeable attention by the silversmith. A pleasure to be in the shop surrounded by beauty. A delight to walk away with a bracelet made by him personally.

Tha Dualchas an seo. Outstanding works of art you wont find anywhere else close to the main land, you can not put your trust in a better source for Authentic Silver and Gold that supports culture and traditions going back centuries for the Hebrides. I drove over 1,300 miles in 9 days in Scotland and THIS was the shop for any silver pieces you may wish to find. No cheap imports here, this is a shop supporting small communities that are extremely difficult to get to. I have read the other reviews mostly complaining about conversations, I can not imagine living in isolation on an island, day in and day out selling your wears to the world and having to explain traditions over and over to people who feel they are entitled to culture, are there as tourists and do not participate in cultural preservation other than heraldry. If you come into this shop and are not ready to pay your respect to the folks living on the island, by all means go somewhere else. If you come in this shop with the slightest grasp on Gaidhlig and Pictish culture and language you will find it an absolute treasure trove. The gal behind the counter is extremely knowledgeable and selective to what she shares about the culture to those who are humble enough to ask and worthy of the knowledge. Leave your entitlement at the door and go home happy.
