Dont bother with this takeaway. Cant be bothered taking an order 40 minutes before closing time. Youll be turned away if you dont preorder at least an hour beforehand. So much for a quick takeaway

Terrible service upon arrival and basically turned away. Thu 20 Aug walked from Thurso for takeaway with my wife and dog, arrived 30 minutes before takeaway closes. When asked what was available we were told 'fish n chips and stuff'. We really politely asked for a menu and were told we'd have to download the app, she didn't know what else was available. Not one thing. Real shame. We love our seafood and made an effort to try this place

A big well done to everyone in the team for making the 2021 National Federation of Fish Friers (NFFF) top 20 UK fish and chip shops list. A Daily Record article says Scrabster Seafood Bar and Takeaway made the exclusive list for product quality, customer service and hygiene standards. Considering there are around 8,500 other fish and chip shops in the UK you should all be glowing with pride, for you are all, as a team, flying a flag for both Caithness and Scotland. Rock on.

Service was excellent but some chips were undercooked and batter had gone a bit soggy.

Ordered via the new app, takeaway ordered for 6.30 collection, paid for online, arrived at 6.25, 3 X fish & chips, 1 X scampi & chips, told on collection ran out of chips, 2, refunded, fish looked like it was lunch times . Won't be using again.
