On our way in we were halted by a mother duck and 3 chicks crossing the road, how could it get better? Well if you are taking the kids the answer is easily. There is a multitude of things to entertain the youngsters, including the fairy Forrest trail, numerous exaggerated park rides, adventure type play area, a beach and obviously a loch. The cafe is good, and during the summer there are ice cream vans reasonably priced. There is a vast green where sports can be played, and some very scenic walks of varying length. Get the weather and it is a great day out.....take a picnic and have hours of fun as a family, don't forget the dog it can have loads of fun too.
