* Was told by reception that having comorbidities plus chronic asthma "didnt matter" when it came to getting my vaccine, despite being told by the government to shield and that I was in an early category. They apparently didnt have my comorbidities in their records despite being told numerous times by me, plus three phone calls following up the vaccine (always "at lunch" when I called.. and they never called back).
* Had me stop SSRI's cold turkey (which is dangerous) three times in a matter of months because they would not write me a script that was long enough to cover me until the next appointment - appointment with specialist was not for 6 weeks, they only gave me a script for four weeks.... three times in a row! Reception refused to give me an earlier appointment to cover me. Did not bother to get any special authorization to write a longer script, or give me a second one, despite being asked repeatedly.
* Practice "NURSE" did not know basic information about pap test she was performing, nor did she understand the the virus she was testing for. (e.g. she did not know if humans have it for life or if it goes away, did not know about carriers, did not know basic lifecycle etc). She also did not know basic questions about cervical cancer. She also said HPV is the only cause.
The practice is really badly managed. No common sense, lack of training, lack of education among office staff and nurses. Go somewhere else where they dont put you at risk.
