Vicki's Den

I spent over a month at Vicki's Den apartment. This is by far the best Airbnb I have stayed in. The studio is very cozy, you feel at home, the atmosphere is very peaceful, the beach is 1 minute walk away. Amazing place to stay for a weekend or a long period, I even had the chance to see Northern Lights from the balcony!! Thank you again Vicki for your welcome, everything was perfect and I would come back for sure.

This is, in effect, a bedsit - one that is fully furnished to a good standard. It has a small balcony facing West with a small table and two chairs on it. I have to say that during my time here (Oct) it was mostly sunny, albeit more windy than usual, with some stunning blue skies. Views on a clear day from the balcony are really lovely, and with horses in the field below it's a quiet and calming location - good for mindfulness moments! I have no problems with the decor and can't fault the equipment lots of of pots, pans, plates, glasses, mugs and a welcome pack of milk, bread, butter, tea, instant coffee, biscuits and a bar of chocolate. All of that is most welcome as I did not see a shop in the hamlet. There are plenty of big shops in Tain which is a couple of miles away. So would I stay here again? Absolutely, in a heart beat! Not just because it's location, not far (yards) from the beach where you can walk on sandy shores, nor for it's clean, well equipped room. One of the most enjoyable aspects was chatting to Vicki the owner. She is one of those people who are a total delight to talk with. Helpful, knowledgeable, humourous and just really nice, thanks Vicki and to your dog's and Danny Boy (a horse) too. I loved Vicki's Den and wish her success with the business.
