An absolute treasure trove! The gift and interiors shop on one side of the street has all sorts of wonderful things, from gifts and toys, paint and drawer handles, to jewellery, candles and soft furnishings. The Quernstone on the other side of the street has an amazing array of hand made garments and hats, as well as stocking local wools including hand dyed yarn from The Orkney Dye Shed. The lady here is very friendly and knowledgeable too, a very pleasurable pair of shops to visit.

Amazing selection of wool yarn from the local sheep, spinners and dyers. And a wide selection of already made knitwear for those who don't knit themselves. Definitely liked the chatty owner, made us feel very welcome when we just got off the ferry! Could honestly speak to her all day!

Super friendly shop full of gorgeousness. Bought a hat kit, and another when I'd made that one. Also some super soft gloves. Lady who worked there was very friendly and have good knitting advice. Maybe my most northerly knitting shop but they still online so I can still buy!
