Absolutely incredible stay with the lovely Yvonne. We had an amazing Easter weekend with so many thoughtful touches - we could pack our own lunch, there were special oils for the sauna, we had a earplugs by our pillows - not that we needed them. The room was spotless and huge and great value with a stunning view at the top of a hill over stromness. We fed the goats, we went for the Brinkies walk over the hill and had a hearty breakfast every day. It was a great base for all our Orkney activities and felt like home straight away - we certainly didnt regret staying here and if ever we came back Brinkies would be top of the list. Fantastic place, fantastic host.

Holy moly, Orkney is fabulous! The history of the place is entrancing. And we couldnt have hoped for better than Brinkies Guesthouse. Yvonne was the host with the most, so kind and thoughtful. The room was adorable - poppy-themed - and the views, breathtaking. Shes an Orchadian through & through, & is very generous with her knowledge. Shes a heart & soul person who will go out of her way for you, to make sure you have a lovely stay. And did I mention her breakfasts?! The absolute BEST food weve had in any bnb. And if youd prefer a packed lunch, no problems! Swoon. Oh & then theres the goats & a gorgeous chatty cat - so welcome after being away from our own animals for so long. Highly recommend a stay here. And Yvonne, if you read this, Dave & I thank you again for making our stay in Stromness so memorable. See you in Australia one day
