We recently stayed in the Orchard and what can we say but, what a setting and set up! A perfect balance of the nature, privacy and outdoors with the well thought out comforts, including the woodfire stove to keep us toasty and warm at night. The animals and setting really made the stay for us, truly relaxing, huge amount of options to explore during the day. The homemade sourdough for breakfast was superb and we really appreciate the eco-friendly approach to everything that Adam and Rosie put into our stay at Aikenhead House. We even managed to see a meteor whilst sitting in the woodfired hot tub stargazing! Highly recommend and look forward to staying with you again very soon

Staying here was an absolute dream. As an individual with a disability I am used to staying in accommodation where provision for those with different physical needs is an afterthought. When staying at the cottage it is clear the Rosie and Adam have integrated access and provision for those with additional physical needs at the design stage. As a result, it creates a lovely feeling within the cottage and one where access etc is not glaringly obvious. The environment, quality of finish and facilities all make this a beautiful place to stay. Rosie and Adam are lovely and very much give off the vibe that they will always aim to accommodate the best they can. Really couldn't have asked for a more relaxing and peaceful place to stay.

Couldn't of asked for anything more. Our weekend away was perfect. The Cottage we stayed in was fully equipped with everything we needed for a hassle free get away. The host were brilliant and very welcoming. We even got a nice tour of all the animals they have around their small holdings. We even got to meet some wee newborn lambs. It was great time away with lots to do around the area. We had a brilliant meal in Blairgowrie at Cargills one night and the local Chinese Taste of China delivered to us as well. Highly recommended both of those as well. We also went paddle boarding in Loch Freuchie with Matt at Paddle Surf Scotland which was a new experience and we both loved it and would recommend that as well. It was also great to come back and put the log burner on and sit infront of if to warm back up. The highlight though was being able to get the wood fired hot tub lit and sit in that and relax with a nice cold cider. Look forward to seeing Rosie and Adam again.
