Loved this cottage so much. In the middle of the woods but close to Strathpeffer centre, great walks around it and some of the most gorgeous scenery nearby. Really easy to get to Inverness for shopping too. The best part was sitting out on the balcony watching the birds at the bird feeder whilst enjoying a lovely evening with a cup of coffee and not a care in the world. X

Gorgeous forest hideaway, relaxing break surrounded by nothing but birdsong and wind in the tree tops. Wonderfully equipped cosy log cabin. You could spend a week here and happily leave your car in the car park, wondering into Strathpeffer to enjoy a cup of tea at The Old Station tearoom or one of the other cafs, meals are also available at Ben Wyvis Hotel. Bikes can be hired from Square Wheels in the main square, walks through the forest constantly change as The Forestry Commission fell and replant Blackmuir Wood. Perfect for kids, dogs and anyone needing to unwind. Love the fact that bird feeders are hung around the lodges and kept well stocked.
