Lovely place to choose to spend your staycation in. It's perfect if you're looking for self-catering accommodation. The lodge has 9 rooms and can accommodate many people. It's in a perfect location; only a few minute walk away from the centre of the village. Since this used to be a hotel, there's a well-equipped kitchen, bar, laundry room, toilets on the ground floor, big lounge, big dining room and a games room. There's a big garden as well. Most rooms are en suite. Some rooms do require to have their bathrooms upgraded. Mine was definitely dated and needing a refurb. The lodge isn't suitable for wheelchair users as there's no lift and all bedrooms are on the first floor.
