The bedroom and bathroom were clean and comfortable, the shower was amazing and the owners were lovely and very accommodating! Willowburn house is lovely, a quiet area in an ideal location and the breakfast was perfect, we would definatly stay again. :)

I recently stayed at Willowburn House for a few days while waiting for a new job contract to start. From the moment I arrived I felt at home, the property is immaculate, but very homely with everything you could need for a restful stay, or to base yourself for sight seeing around the area, being central to many interesting places. The hosts Susan and Randy go out of their way to make your stay a pleasure, and Randy even joined me one evening for a drink in the local tavern, which is well within walking distance, and friendly. The room I stayed in was well equipped with TV and WiFi was available and reliable, just outside the room is a lounge/chill out area for guests with coffee machine, soft furnishings, books, fridge and another TV. Breakfast is one of the best I have ever had with a good variety of options, but for me the Scottish breakfast could not be beaten absolutely first class. All in all the stay there was more like staying with friends rather than a hotel/ guest house and I would recommend it to anyone, I just hope that I have the good fortune to pass that way again and stay once more. *****
