Alexandra was a wonderful host, meeting us on arrival and leaving some thoughtful treats and fresh flowers.
The lodge is situated in a great area to explore with a pair of munros a beautiful 40 minute drive to the west, and plenty of other things to entertain in the vicinity. If you get the chance, also worth doing a tour of the main castle.
