Ill-equipped to function as a post office- that's if you even catch it open! Save yourself the hassle and go to Stonehouse Post Office which is great.

Don't waste your time going here. You've more chance of winning the lottery than catching this place open. I would never normally want a place closed down but there is no point to this place operating when it is impossible to know if it's going to actually be open when it says it will. It is literally pot luck on a daily basis. I wish Strathaven had a Post Office it could rely on.
