Alexander House, Perthshire

We stayed here for a long weekend in one of the converted horse boxes. Considering the weather the glamping remained toasty and they kindly left a dog pack for our little pup. Great views all round and awesome places near to hike and drink. The only sad piece was the wood burner hot tub, we attempted using it twice and even paid the 25 for it to be preheated and it never got warm enough to use. Would recommend staying still, lovely place!

Arriving home from the most magical wedding possible, it all still feels like a dream. Sarah and her team helped my now husband and I create our perfect wedding in just under two months. From the moment we enquired to our last goodbyes we were impressed with their professionalism, helpfulness, support, and genuine commitment to making our day exactly how we envisioned. Alexander House provides the best views and the flexibility to take them all in no matter the weather. Our guests are still raving about the food which the amazing Steve and his team put on for us over three days. Every single person felt like a VIP and the amount of times during the wedding I was asked How did you find such an amazing place? was countless. Our guests were just as blown away by everything we were. If you are planning your wedding we can not recommend this place enough. We have zero regrets and are already looking forward to returning!!!

I booked a catered weekend for myself and my hens. On the run up to the weekend the communication was fantastic. I have coeliac disease and wasnt expecting much as hadnt had great experiences with dining in large groups before. The chef, Stephen, was absolutely fantastic. He was so knowledgeable and for once, I didnt feel like an afterthought but a priority. I had the same to eat as everyone once and had no fear of cross contamination. His sister led the service and was fantastic. So friendly but professional too. All the staff were honestly superb. As part of the hen package we also had a team of beauty therapists come into the house and give us all massages, which were lovely. The house itself was absolutely stunning. Would not hesitate to recommend to others and hopefully with have an excuse to come back soon!

I had spent two nights glamping in Yurt Heather. On the first night I got into bed I got an itch on my foot and felt 3 bumps, I had believed I was bitten by a bedbug - I raised this concern and a thorough inspection was done that confirmed there wasn't bed bugs - but none the less I did get some bite on my foot that looked like a bed bug bite. Part of the reason I booked this yurt was for the bathtub which somehow ended up flooding the bathroom both nights. - Alexander house themselves tested this and didn't find a flood. I'm not sure what we did but this is what happened for us so after our bath we had to use all the towels to mop the bathroom floor. One side of the cooking stove wouldn't work for us either, we read the instruction manual and texted house keeping but unfortunately it just didn't work out for us. Ultimately I booked what I hoped to be a relaxing getaway which ended up being more work for my partner and I. I'm not sure what we were doing wrong with the bath and stove but Alexander House were really great with communication and investigating our raised issues and I praise them for getting professional pest control for the bed bug raised concern.
