Runs only in fair weather. Open back means vehicles covered in sea salt. Supposed to be a lifeline service NOT a tourist boat!!

Ferry Terminal Stornoway and the thought of what lies beyond the town , gives you sheer joy and happiness when you arrive. When you depart it's a more subdued perspective of what lies ahead on the mainland. As is often said 'you can take the cove or blone out of Stornoway but you can never take Stornoway out of the blone and cove'
