I stayed here overnight before taking the ferry back to the mainland. I have to say that I was really quite disappointed, particularly given the prices that are charged. The two stars are for the fact that I was allowed to check in earlier to leave my luggage, the guest house is in a good location (close to centre of town and next to ferry terminal) and the owners were friendly. However, as a solo traveller I was boxed away in a very small bedroom under the stairs in room 3. I barely had room to put my luggage on the floor, the window wouldnt shut properly so it was very noisy due to the traffic on the main road, there was no main light in the bedroom, the WiFi didnt reach to the room properly and the TV didnt work. I was also disappointed to see that the toilet and bathroom facilities (both separate from each other) were found at the opposite end of the guest house meaning I had to pass several other bedrooms each time I needed to use the facilities. The breakfast provided was really quite greasy and the milk had split and curdled in my tea. The atmosphere was also very flat. Overall, not good enough for the prices that are charged. I did explain these issues to management upon checking out but it just seemed to be shrugged off.
