I write a review with some trepidation, as I note previous negative feedback has been met with defence or worse. A friendly smile and welcome did not await us here; in stark contrast to our visit to Spokes cafe the day before. We bought 3 orders of coffees, rolls and cakes in our time there. There were 3 staff on and not once did they smile or ask us how things were or thanks us for our business; we actually felt unwelcome. The cafe is a lovely setting, though compact and so when at capacity with people and dogs, it can feel a little cramped. The food and the coffee was all fine, but it was the lack of warmth and welcome that really made it a negative experience and score. I wouldnt go back unless this was a one off bad day the team was having. Wheelchair accessibility: I think that prior planning might be needed, as if the first 2 tables were not free, it would be hard to navigate.
