The post office at Arduthie does a good job and the assistants friendly and helpful. However why is it in a place the size of Stonehaven it is the only post office and woefully inadequate to cope with the demand resulting in long slow moving queues. A lot of the older people stay nearer the town centre and to use the present post office would mean a long trek uphill (at least a mile) or catch a bus.
