We moved to Stonehaven a few months ago and I had a lot of DIY projects to do. This hardware store has everything, almost literally. Its a trek to B&Q in Aberdeen which might be worthwhile if you need more stuff but otherwise, I strongly recommend having a look around Nickel & Dime. Their wide choice of small packets of screws at 1.99 is an example but they also have tools, household stuff and branded filler, silicone, no more nails and paints. The quality is good and the prices mostly ok, and actually lower than B&Q in many cases. Be aware that they close at 5pm and are not open Sundays.
