Red Clean was recommended to me by several people in Stonehaven, so I arranged for Paul to come and price up the cleaning and re-sanding of my loc bloc driveway. Paul appeared very knowledgeable; explained how they used powerful high pressure washers, to remove all the moss, algae and lichen from the blocks. He explained the option of re-sanding with a product that contained a small quantity of cement, but better still was to seal the driveway which would better stabilise the sand, delaying weed growth and reducing the blocks from staining. Cleaning Fantastic result, Ross and Alex spent the whole of Friday cleaning the driveway. It really looked like new! Sanding hadnt expected this to be done on the Monday due to heavy rain previous afternoon and evening, and were away. It was done anyway Sealing Wasnt even sure it was done, the matt finish was impossible to check, sand only seemed set in places. Other sealed drives seen show the rain slightly sitting on the surface, like a newly polished car. After sales service Paul was around immediately for payment. I raised my concerns but he said it was as expected. After a few days of rain showers contacted again - messaged response was dismissive. Few days later Asked Paul to inspect - no reply. Heavy rain removed large areas of sand - bare joints. Only 10 days after completion. Will need to prep drive again and re-sand myself!
