Avoid avoid avoid! What little advice they give you is poor and one day bites you in the backside. They expect you to be a financial expert and don't explain anything. They're happy to grab their commission from the bank an do nothing to actually advise you and help you. Don't make the mistake we did, use someone else.

We were put in touch with New Homes Mortgage Scotland by our developer, Taylor Wimpey in March 2022. We were happy to go along with them and everything at the start was perfect. All initial checks and information were gathered swiftly by Sean over the space of a couple of days. However, this is where the service we recieved took a masssive dip. We would be waiting days to hear back. I would be the one constantly chasing things up. It was just really poor communication and no follow ups when you called. It was a very stressful time as Taylor Wimpey could only hold the plot for so long and it wasn't made easier by the lack of information we were getting back from Sean. It took about 3 weeks for Sean to tell us that there was a issue with my payslips and that they could not proceed with the application. Now reading on from other people's reviews here, it seems that if ur application involves a bit of extra work or if there are some issues that are maybe not straightforward, they are simply not interested as they don't want the aggro. I had to chase them for this answer due to not hearing back from him in days. After this disappointment i contacted Darren Gold from the Paisley Mortgage Centre. He was amazing, for a start he didn't ask or need half of the documents that Sean wanted. It was fuss free and Darren took care of everything for us and got us our application approved in a week. I would avoid this company as 3 weeks were wasted. I would highly recommend Darren Gold From Paisley Mortgage Centre instead.

Poor communication and no follow-ups or calling back, all was well initially but once you the application process intiated, it was poor such that, I was constantly reaching out to lenders by myself as they don't forward the given documents promptly and also won't pass the full list of documents given to them by the lenders, out of all this they were asking for some documentation which lenders never asked for too which is crazy. I got my mortgage approved and yet the adviser was asking for more documentation and they adviser was in a senior role. I would honestly think twice before reaching out to them. If you are facing time crunch please avoid by all means.
