Hollywood nails

Far from the best nail tech /nail services Ive ever had - My main concern was around the solution they had me rinsing my old polish off in at the start; it was so strong that my skin was burning- I took my hands out and said it was burning but the tech grabbed my wrist and pushed it back in to the bowl. I have dried up skin and little blisters all over my hands now. Also got knicked by the young nail tech (couldnt have been older than 14) a couple times and he didnt notice except for one time when I winced (but no apology). They seemed to be cutting corners to try and get customers through quickly and it was the end of the day. FYI -This is a family shop and it will not be a quick visit. Mom, dad, kids working, crying baby all there! It is walk in, so when I arrived to wait, I was told it would be a short wait - it was well over an hour before I got seated with a tech, so be prepared. Also be prepared to pay cash. They didnt advertise cash only or tell me before I started and I didnt have any on me. I was told to transfer money to a Scottish account number written on a post it note but being an expat , I was not setup to do so and had never experienced such business practices. Furthermore the price I was asked to pay (43) for regular polish didnt align with the board listed prices. I asked and also offered to come back with cash. They became aggressive and demanded I phone someone I know and tell them to transfer the money immediately. Luckily my one contact picked up. Im not sure what I would have done otherwise (my phone immediately died after as I had used it all up while waiting) Extremely questionable business practices here. Do not recommend. UPDATE: it has been 5 months since I had this experience and I still cant get the polish off my toes.

Fantastic salon! I first started getting acrylic nails in 2019 and they never fail to impress they never fail to give fantastic detail within all their nail designs. Their salon is very clean unlike some of the other salons I have been into they use grade A nail polishes etc.. would definitely recommend 5 out of 5 stars for me ! Service: Acrylic nails

I had never used this salon before for Acrylic nails but as the American Nails in Barnton Street failed to do a professional job, I came here. They repaired the awful mess that the aforementioned salon had created. Absolutely first class. A clinically clean salon and very helpful staff. It cost a little more than similar places but with the quality of the finished article, worth it! I will definitely be back! Service: Manicure
