Welcome to the future nightmare of Petrol. Do you remember the days when you could visit your local supplier and share some idle chat with the knowledgeable staff and receive colourful yet informative information on the varieties of fuel on offer? This station marks a dark and new age of self automation. I feel my recent review of Morrisons slightly heavy handed in retrospect. Here you have the 'pleasure' of self service (what dark twisted grey matter envisaged this I dread to think). Despite my misgivings I am here to review what is on offer despite the deeply unsettling experience. After swiping my club card and presenting payment upfront I am told shortly they will precharge/hold on my card pounds and repay whatever I don't use within a couple of hours. The bare faced cheek of this will become apparent in the coming lines. Let me begin with the house unleaded. It's flavour is weak and shallow with no apparent bouquet whatsoever! It however has a purity of 95+ % I can only assume this is so you will be both paraletic and blind before you get a chance to judge its quality. Sadly for the Momentum premium offering things slide further still. Unpalatable with an acrid back of throat sensation. Despite underpinnings of the finest Devonian fossil beds they have managed to remove all providence from this tipple. Moving on to the diesel (and a high point in this sordid misadventure) it reminded me of the type I received on a captive Greek tourist trail )where what you see is what get and had enough content to at least take the edge of the misguided tour. I can only call to the ex staff of the station to say you have had a lucky escape. It's best not to be associated with such enterprise, your talents will not be lost on more deserving folk. If this is the future of my fuel sommelier career I may seriously need to retrain.

Shocking. Petrol price advertised at 163.9 on their board only to arrive at the pump and its 166.9. Complete breach of advertising standards. Completely lost my trust in a well know brand that this is acceptable advertising behaviour.
