The first person we dealt with was absolutely lovely, couldn't have been more patient or helpful. We both left knowing that although the issue wasn't resolved right then that it would be handled well. I got a call back from the person later in the day to confirm a few things.
We had to go back a couple days later to finalise everything and take notes of some contract dates etc. The worker we saw then did try to help, they just didn't really have a friendly demeanor like our previous contact so it was a bit jarring. But all was sorted, and it all ended well.
Apsie review:
The shopping centre has an autism hour on Sundays at 10am, and they used to stop all music and dim lighting. The shop had stopped the music, but the shops I passed were still extremely bright.
The first time we attended wasn't during autism hour, and they could definitely turn the music down a bit as my hearing aids were picking it up way too loud compared to the employees voice.
Accessibility:
There is enough space for a wheelchair to safely get around the shop, some phones on display were higher than ideal but some were reachable. Plenty of chairs available and we were offered a seat both times straight away and didn't have to ask.
First staff member gets 5/5
Second staff member gets 3/5
Improvements that could be made:
1. Lower the music volume
2. Dim the lights during autism hour (if possible)
