Very knowledgeable. But you pay for it. 85+VAT to fit a shower head and hose - which I was charged for on top. Then quoted over 3,000 incl. VAT for 2/3 days work where, again, customer was to purchase the materials, bar some grout, sealant and cement boards for a tiny ensuite. Worked out this was approximately 1,000 a day labour (at best). Hey, good luck if you can get it. Wed all be laughing to the bank if we made that for two and a half days a week. Fed up with being taken advantage of. It is shocking and lets down the industry (not that it needs much help in my experience). There is no excuse for this kind of conduct.

Different class - had an emergency leak and the kitchen floor needed to come up asap, and after being declined by 10 local plumbers who were either too busy, told me I needed a joiner first or didn't fancy the difficult job at all, Howden came out and addressed the situation sharply and efficiently. Emergency over within an hour, great price for the job done, and clean and tidied after themselves. Highly recommended.
