Huts in Scotland can be quite special and these are quite curious and I think good value for money for far less there are 5 or more wee bedrooms, yes they might benefit from a little IKEA paint and highlights but when accommodation is at a premium this summer and you are happy with a flat bed to lay your head then as basic it is fine, whereas if you have over 100 stay at the university hotel round the corner

I stayed here as part of an event, the location was brilliant for the event, there is a lovely village feel to the location, and it is well situated to access both the university facilities and those outside the campus. However the chalets are getting very tired, despite efforts clearly being made to maintain them as best as possible. Given the large amounts clearly being spent on the rest of the university buildings, hopefully this is the next area to be redeveloped with more modern buildings, but hopefully keeping the cosy village feel.

The worst accommodation ever had in uni life but I miss it.

Nice place but very cold in winter, weve struggled to have hot water and my heating hasnt been working since December in my room despite university coming out 2/3 times to fix it. Would heavily recommend blankets if youre moving here
