I assumed the land must be my responsibility as it was never done. Initially I did it myself and then paid for a gardener but it was brought to my attention by the current contractors that they would and should be doing the work. My gripe is not with them.
When raised with FHA they tried every which way to wriggle out of this and then offered me less than 100 pounds compensation/reimbursement. I am semi retired and don't have the energy to pursue this further. I'm just really glad I'm not one of their tenants as I feel this whole episode has shown a complete lack of moral integrity and accountability.
