The 2nd course we played at St Andrews and possibly some of the worst weather I've played in, it absolutely tipped it down and with wind factor made it very cold, so much so that two of our four ball called it quits on the 14th. I stuck it out with one other and I am so glad we did. When you travel to Scotland in Feb you have to expect all weather conditions and this to me was what I was half expecting. The condition of all the courses at St Andrews complex are so good that even with so much rain it didn't effect the courses playability. The jubilee felt like more of a challenge than the New which was my first experience at St Andrews and I think if I could only play one of the two again it would be the Jubilee as it had some more challenging holes and layout.

It started out as a wet round, but in spite of that the course was fair and fast. Our round finished in under four hours, however a caddie in a group behind us tried to speed us up! The Marshall took care of him for us, and overall the staff were excellent and got us out ahead of our tee time. My most vivid memory of the course were the bunkers. Every course in the complex is full of them, but for some reason we were in these all day but managed some nice shots out.

The Jubilee Course is part of the St. Andrews Links complex. It is reached via the new clubhouse and has a large parking lot. The course is an absolutely fantastic experience, and several holes are more difficult than its better-known sibling, The Old Course. If you cannot get a tee time for the Old Course, play Jubilee or the New Course knowing you are getting a fantastic links test.
