We stayed in Morag the Shepherd's Hut! Dog friendly Sam and Mike are terrific hosts, nothing is any bother, extremely friendly and helpful. There is ample facilities in Morag to be self catering although we were lucky to sample lovely breakfasts with our friends who were staying in main house. Vistas over St Andrews were beautiful. Very peaceful and relaxing. Would we go again? you bet Thank you Sam and Mike.

This was my 2nd visit to Scooniehill with extended family, 10 in total with 4 year old, baby and a dog, and the hosts Sam and Mike couldn't have been more welcoming. It was like visiting a friends house, great welcome and clean rooms and a quiet location only 5 min drive from St Andrews. We did walk down as the weather was good. Good choices for breakfast and no complaints from me for the full breakfast. They also have some nice chocolates.

First class. Excellent large and well equipped rooms with lots of thoughtful extra touches and good selection of in room tea/ coffee etc. Very clean and really comfortable bed with a great sea view over St Andrews as a bonus. Breakfast was excellent and Sam and Mike are exceptional hosts who went above and beyond when we had an issue with a flat tyre we needed to sort. We will definitely be back to spend more time enjoying the place rather than waiting around in St Andrews for the AA!
