        This was a delightful find, shame it was closed for going inside bit still to get the drone up and over showed how spectacular it is and did not realise it is actually next door to Glenfiddich distillery. Will defo return when the gates are open amd I can see all its glory inside.

        Beautiful castle but it's only open during summer time. You can see the Highland cows near by field if you like to see.

Helaas is ook dit kasteel afgezet met hekken en kan je alleen maar van de voorkant een foto maken. Helaas is een rondje er omheen lopen op niet mogelijk, waardoor dit kasteel maar 3 sterren krijgt (blijft een mooi historische gebouw)

        Unfortunately the castle was closed for structural safety work when I went but the engineer from Historic Scotland was helpful enough to guide me to areas where I could see the structure without getting in the way or compromising safety. I'll give it another look when I'm next in the area as the images on google suggest its worth a wander round when it's fully open.
