Auchnascraw Mill

Just had a lovely return visit to the mill. It truly is a little piece of heaven. The accommodation is superb - so cosy, peaceful and relaxing. We had amazing walks, saw lots of great wildlife, sampled the whisky (of course) and saw great dark skies. Megan and Sean are wonderful hosts - full of local knowledge and always happy to help. We have come home with batteries fully recharged. Yet again we are already planning when we can go back!

Amazing little cottage with the most perfect host. Came here for my birthday with a group of friends. Can accommodate 5/6 people, really spacious and incredibly clean. The hosts made us a delicious lemon loaf cake. The area is very picturesque, there are cows everywhere. Its perfect for a little get away, I would definitely come back again.

The most beautiful holiday home weve ever been so far. Very clean and looking almost freshly renovated. Its nicely furnished and very cosy. A huge kitchen with a table to eat. A living room with a second dining table, some comfortable sofas and even a vintage Eames lounge chair. Two bathrooms with showers. Two bedrooms on the upper floor. The mill lies on a quiet access road with a view over the vast meadows with cows and sheep. The welcoming hosts Megan and Sean live on the other side of the road and gave us good tips for hikes and events in the region.
