For those who enjoy playing golf, there are 3 courses in the area.
The Machrihanish Golf Club opposite the hotel, 120/per round in September.
The Machrihanish DUNES Golf Club, discounted to 70/round for hotel residents in September and only 15mins away. Its a great course that gives you a good challenge and offers nice coastal views. Also has a driving range and chipping / putting practice areas and Launa in the Golf shop really puts herself out to help you.
The Dunaverty Golf Course, 35/per round in September and is 20 mins away at the tip of the peninsula. In my opinion, this is a hidden gem and I would truly recommend this course. The staff are very welcoming and cant do enough for you, the course is in tip top condition and the views along the coastline from the course are simply stunning!
