A lovely old house overlooking the water at Waas (Walls). We stayed for a couple of nights and had the place to ourselves so had plenty of space, though the kitchen could get cramped if the Bd was full as it's quite small. The living room, however, is spacious and comfortable, and the bedrooms, too. There's a bathroom with a shower and a separate WC, with plenty of hot water (electricity provided through a meter that takes 1 coins), and a peat fire (fuel 8 per bag). Waas has an excellent local shop which sells goods from the local bakery (the puckle loaf is recommended) and is also a wifi hotspot as phone coverage is limited. Of particular note is the garden, a true delight it seems to go on forever opening hidden corners, with a fire pit in the central patio area, and a washing line. We really liked the Bds, excellent value for money and places of interest, too.
