        We had a very enjoyable and interesting visit to Shetland Designer. The owner, Wilma, has been designing and blending colours into patterns for decades. All products are handmade with Shetland wool (by Jamieson or others) to her design. Wilma was a delight to chat with, as she explained how she chose her shades from typical Shetland scenes. She was full of passion for her trade and a proud lady. Stop off and enjoy hearing about her skills within the Shetland wool industry. Yes, we both bought wool jumpers and beanies.

        Definitely a must see place if you're in the area. Beautiful knitwear (and samples of traditional and modern patterns) in a wide variety of colours. Plus a very knowledgable owner who is a joy to talk to. Prices are also very reasonable for Shetland knitwear.
