Because we booked via email, struggling to leave my review somewhere. We booked and stayed here for a month a few weeks ago. Owners David and Sylvia literally could not do enough for us! The flat is compact but has everything you need. It has been well thought out and nothing is too much trouble. Large spacious bathroom and bedroom. This is now my favourite village in Shetland. We used it as a base to explore Shetland mainland and the surrounding islands once the lockdown eased a little. Hamnavoe, Burra itself is simply charming and beautiful. There is so much to explore close by. The views are amazing. The beaches amongst the most stunning Ive ever seen. I would highly recommend this property as I feel it is in the best place and the owners go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and the best it can be!
