We stayed here at the end of day 2 of cycling the Hebridean Way. It was the most welcome of sights after a long ride up from North Uist. Maggie gave us a very warm welcome, quickly arranging 2 big pots of tea, cheese and biscuits and shortbread, quickly devoured by us hungry cyclists! We had planned to have our evening meal at the pizza place a few miles down the road, but hadn't factored in them moving to their winter timetable a few days earlier! Crestfallen, Maggie said not to worry, she'd sort out a takeaway for us. Not only that, she drove the 22 mile round trip into Stornoway to pick it up for us. What a star!!! We had a very comfortable night resting our weary limbs and had everything we needed to refuel the next morning and head back on our way to Port of Ness, with a stop a short way down the road to check out the Callanish Standing Stones. We had such a comfortable stay in this B&B! Lovely views, kind hosts, a tidy room and a neat bathroom that was well stocked with soaps. The breakfast options that were available in our room were good. We had access to a kitchen and also had a small fridge and toaster in our room. The room was very cozy with a comfy bed. We also liked the cattle that was walking on the fields around the house. Really recommend staying here!
