Selkirk Dental Practice

Great wee dentist, staff are always friendly. Ill start by saying my teeth were in a right mess after not having a dentist for 15 years. Not there fault. There very quick and get you in and out which is great as i dont like sitting stewing. Ive given 4 stars as i have a few rough bits which could of been smoothed out. Again its not really there fault that my teeth were in such a state to begin with. 8 fillings and a layer of the grow material across most of my teeth as they have hairline cracks which is where it could of been smoothed out a bit more. Im just so thankful to them for taking the time and effort to fix them as most wouldn't. When someone takes pride in your teeth its a true shame to let them get in to such a mess. Great job hope to see you again soon or not lol.

My usual NHS dentist is still not offering non-emergency appointments so I thought I'd try going private at the Selkirk Dental Practice - and I'm very glad I did. I got my first appointment within a couple of weeks, at which they assessment my problems and took x-rays. My appointments for treatment were going to be 4 months later but luckily I got a 45-minute slot after a cancellation - so ended up waiting less than 1 month. At my treatment, both the dentist and the nurse were courteous, attentive and efficient. The dentist discussed options clearly and her work was painless with minimal discomfort. My only reservations are about the hand sanitiser units that squirts not your hands but your leg and their new (?) online signup process that asks you to accept their Terms & Conditions, which are literally "Type text here..."
