Tell you have a prescription on phone...collect on Friday! I went on Saturday they cannot find my prescription ..I persevered to get my prescription after about 4 minutes oh they then give me my prescription...yes im not impressed by Boots chemist Dockhead Street good bye

Following Jean straight out the door. Absolute worse pharmacy experience ever at Saltcoats. Don't dare ever query what they give you for your prescription or they will tear a strip off you in front of everybody. Latest experience included three incorrect items which are unable to be returned. Too scared to check it before I left the shop. They will now charge the NHS for their mistake which has been confirmed by the doctors surgery. Not Slow in blaming either you or the surgery for their own incompetent service. Latest collection over a week late. Tantamount to fraud so hopefully my complaint handler will take this into consideration. Been a customer for many years, over that time they did get my 8 week script right on the odd occasion, don't care about losing my custom. Total incompetence from Boots Pharmacy Staff.

Been using this pharmacy for several years for my repeat prescription but enough is enough. Hit and miss as to whether they bother to do my prescription as a repeat or not. Most recently they did not do my repeat prescription yet again and blamed the doctors, doctors confirmed its the pharmacy that should request the repeat prescription which I state every time I collect. I then couldn't collect my prescription on Saturday because of the pharmacy being closed early due to staff shortages and then today it was closed again because the staff were all locked in a room and couldn't get out? Seriously?! Very rude and unhelpful security man outside who didn't look one bit like a security man. I was left suffering withdrawals over the weekend from running out of important medication due to this places inability to staff a pharmacy. I have now taken my repeat script and will take it to a different pharmacy and will never set foot in this appalling place again.
