We really enjoy Thai food and have it frequently. First time we've been to this restaurant and can say that the food . is up there with the best. Service was very good too with the waitress who served us being very helpful and pleasant. We can recommend it to anyone who loves Thai food.

Usually not picky enough to leave reviews, but I feel obligated in this situation. WEIRD evening. Food was generic, like cheap takeout. We sat waiting for over an hour to get our main course after waiting 30 mins for our starter. When the mains arrived, we asked for the check because we were in a rush to get to the gelato place we wanted to try before it closed. We didnt complain or make a fuss at all, just politely asked for the check because we were in a rush. Keep in mind, its now 9:30pm on a Monday. The waiter looked flustered and rushed off. The host then came over and very bluntly stated If you were in a rush you should have communicated that. We wait a specific time between starters and mains. We are American and are used to quick dinner service so that could just have been us not knowing what to expect, but I think an hour in between courses is pushing it at 8:30 on a Monday night. We had soup and chicken satay as our starters, and our main courses were Pad Thai and crispy cashew chicken, which were both OK but definitely not that exciting. Pad thai had NO spice or really any flavor at all. After an hour of waiting, it was frankly SO disappointing. The real reason for the 1 star, however, was the hosts complete and utter disregard for personal space and covid-regulations. He kept pulling up and pulling down his mask, brushing up against us, and taking off his mask off to talk to customers around us. We were seated right next to the waitstaff station and bar, which apparently is the worst spot in the restaurant if you dont want to be touched by all the waitstaff and everyone entering and leaving the restaurant. The plates and the table cloth were dirty and the wall next to us was absolutely filthy with food splatter. Everything felt dated and grime-y. All in all, go next door to Tanon. They deserve the business and the food is incredible. Youll thank me.
