St Andrews Post Office

Had bad service for years but now they have ridiculous hours as well. Staff seem to think theyre being forced to work instead of getting paid. Work a 9-5 job and need to post something? Out of luck. Cant even go on your lunch break because they close 12-1 now and shut at 4:30. Went in at 4:32 with a ready parcel and label - wouldnt just scan it.

Went to get stamps for international letters. Queue was pretty long but staff were efficient at dealing with customers and didn't have to wait long. Ladies at the desk were polite and courteous. I think some of the reviews given are unjustified.

Arrived at 1631 and it was shut all terminals off and bags closed. It is amazing what can be done in 1 minute - I dont think so. I spoke to two staff who point blank refused to accept my parcel saying they were closed - despite them not doing anything but apparently waiting.. I am sorry but this is a poor service - I won't be using them again! What is the point of it closing at 1630 ( which most websites, if you Google say they close at 1730 - same as WH Smith ) when the store closes at 1730.. about time they entered the 21st century and provide some customer service. There are other services available...
