Braeside House

A friend and I did a birthday celebration with a two week golfing trip. Our 11.5 round adventure began at St Andrews at the Braeside House. Perfect location to the Old Course, sightseeing of old ruins, and the Castle Course. James and Margaret were wonderful hosts. Margaret chauffeured us up the Main street to restaurants our first night in town. James was like our own caddy giving us golfing suggestions. Such delightful conversations. And, Ms Wonderful kept our rooms cleaned, bellies full, and laughing endlessly. Scottish hospitality is second to none.

Great location, wonderful owners.....we were made to feel like family in their comfortable home....delicious breakfasts---the best pancakes in Scotland ! Highly recommended !

Lovely Guest House with friendly staff! Brilliant Location in center of town, within walking distance to seaside and golf courses in St. Andrews. The rooms are comfortable, clean and nicely decorated.The staff are very friendly and welcoming. You receive a warm welcome and they take care of everything you need - arranging a taxi to the airport, reservations in restaurants, recommendations for trips and more....
