Highly recommend. Took me as a walk-in. Very thorough shellac manicure with Rio. She was wonderful. The place had a relaxed friendly vibe. Had a large selection of shellac colors. If I lived here I would definitely be back. Thank you for the great experience.

POSTED 2019: All lovely staff and great service. Swear by this salon for keeping my lashes, nails, and waxes in check!! Plus good discounts for students! 2022 UPDATE: Please note I have been coming to this salon since 2016, and have no ill intention in posting this. I am just sad as a previously completely loyal customer. I am so sad that the wax bar is just not what it used to be. I waited quite a while (approx 1 year) to post this. I was hoping it would redeem itself, but plainly put the quality of service has gone down. I am worried to expand because I don't want anyone at the salon to take it personally, I feel an odd sense of loyalty to the salon, but being honest, I cannot in good faith recommend this salon and its pricing anymore. Over the last two (?) years, my waxes have been worse (broken hair, missed bits or strips, ingrowns/pimples or infections). I blamed my immunocompromised immune system for the pimples, and this might be the case but I do still want to bring it up as I saw it in another review. The rooms have always had dim light, and this certainly doesn't help the therapists see all the hair. In other instances, it has felt like it wasn't an experienced wax therapist, as they would miss things like the inside of the knee - which can essentially act as a marker for the attentiveness of your wax therapist. I have had a few other treatments, they were OK, however I didn't leave the salon elated about the results (part of this is because of the high price point!). I also had a few unfortunate experiences with staff members in the last year or two (that seem to have left now?), where I really didn't appreciate how I was spoken to - especially considering I'd attended the salon much longer than the staff member had been working there. There used to be a fab birthday event, that I don't think they have put on for years, where you could pre-buy treatments at a 50%. If I am correct, that's been gone for a long while. It just makes you question the management choices, especially as prices of services have gone up. To an extent, I understand the price point - its St. Andrews, and the price of products and wax have gone up, however, I feel like that should have been all the more reason to make sure wax therapists were achieving fab waxes, and offering the best service possible.
