        Situated inside a convenience/ News agent store on main st facing Mitchell Arcade shopping centre, Rutherglen Post office is a very busy place. Its pot luck whether you get in and out quickly or have to face a long queue. The staff are friendly and efficient with a no nonsense approach due to the limited restrictions on their time. Please remember the many time consuming clerical facets facing the staff. Post matters aside, they have to deal with many insurances, drivers license queries, currency exchange,passport forms etc.All of which take time and therefore require your sometimes tested patience. The staff work very hard.

        Terrible service. Went in with a parcel assistant said bar code wasnt working, pushed parcel back to me and gestured I go to Royal Mail. No trying another method like the numbers on the barcode. I knew it was fine but she just looked like she couldnt be bothered so I left. Went to a sub post office elsewhere who took the parcel no problems at all. Rubbish service and wont be back!
