Very friendly and helpful staff. Lots of choices on the menu. Table bit small but we managed to fit everything. Come early to get a table as does get full quickly. Lovely wee cafe. Vegetarian options: Good choice on offer.

Sadly this great cafe seems to have gone right down hill since its been taken over. The food quality is not as good. I had my usual roll and scrambled egg with potatoes scone. The egg was microwaved and put in the roll in one lump, the potato scone was soggy and greasy and under cooked. I ask for sauce but never got any. I ordered my usual soup, it was only filled to 3/4 of the tub and the bread wasnt the nice crusty bread like before it was just a slice of white loaf. Its a shame as the food and the quality of the produce before was excellent. Hopefully its just teething issues and it improves.

Wasn't sure what to expect Gelatos has recently changed hands. We had lunch and as always our burgers were tasty and service was quick and cheery. We were spoken to by the new owner, who was wanted us to know that they are transitioning the business both in terms of tweeking the menu and refurbishment. I thought this was a nice touch, as he seemed genuinely interested in our feedback. I'm certainly interested to see how things shape up over the coming weeks, they certainly have big plans. I had know problem recommending them previously and will certainly be giving the new people a fair cracking of the whip, they certainly seem determined to to things up a notch or two.
