The Victorian Shop

We visited Rothesay for the first time with our 4 year old son at the weekend. We were having a terrible time with his behaviour and so I took him into this beautiful shop, as he loves shiny jewellery and ornaments, and is usually very careful/gentle with them. The shop was like an Aladdin's cave of wonders, full of stunning antique pieces. We were greeted with a smile and made to feel like friends instantly. I told the shop owner Craig, about our stressful day thus far, and he was so kind. He gave my son two toy cars, free of charge as an incentive to behave the rest of the day. I was utterly blown away by his kindness and generosity, and had to hold back the tears. I have worked in customer service for 15 years, and truly believe in service and significance. This was demonstrated tenfold that day, and i won't forget this act of kindness. My son was over the moon, and his behaviour did actually improve, so thank you, thank you, thank you :D
