As an actual student of Tom's I can say with full confidence that he's an excellent instructor. I've used a few different driving instructors in both Ireland and Glasgow and Tom was the only one who could teach a very nervous driver like me how to drive capably, confidently and most importantly, safely. Would 100% recommend.

Unknown if student or tutor behind the wheel, as two persons in the car, but seen speeding on Duntocher Road heading east before Ledi Drive at around 4.30pm on 27/11/18. Can't be sure of the registration, but something close to BH16 LXP. Large sign on top of car said it was this school. They used the bus stop to swerve out of the way of a car turning on to Antonine Road narrowly missing a collision, then continued at a rate of knots towards the lights at the foot of the hill. Would estimate their speed at 40mph+ in a well signposted 30mph zone. Judging by previous comments left, these people seem to have an issue with sticking to the rules of the road or trying to set a good example. Can't imagine recommending this school to anyone learning to drive, as there's obviously a serious issue with how they conduct themselves on the road.

Great driving school, really good instructors, possibly to otto below you were hogging the right hand lane and didn't understand that we drive on the left.

Driver (not student) doesn't seem to understand the 'no undertaking' part of the highway code. If it was the instructor who did this on the road today, then maybe you should find someone else to learn to drive with. Car fitted with CCTV according to the sticker in the rear window, so maybe they can have another look at their actions. Edit: Following your reply, I look forward to giving evidence to the police about this incident, as our vehicles were stationary at the time of taking the image of your car, so only you have committed a driving offence. You have yet again proven your ignorance of the highway code / local laws. It's pretty clear to me that you are attempting to fabricate my actions (as illegal) to deflect from your own poor driving. Assuming you have not edited your footage, your undertaking manoeuvre will have been captured, meaning you are only incriminating yourself. As you have appealed to Google to have the image posted of the event removed, it is clear why you did this, as the image proves we were at a standstill (no motion blurring). Either that, or you are doing 40mph not under braking only 3 feet from the van in front with its brake lights on (which is arguably even more dangerous than undertaking), and I was using a DSLR (or something with a seriously high calibre image capturing capability). Of course, I was not, so we were at a standstill meaning I can use a handheld device to gather evidence. It is interesting that even after reviewing the footage of your own driving behaviour, you still fail to see that you put your vehicle in-between mine and the van in front, taking away my 2 second braking gap to the vehicle in front. This road is frequently used for emergency vehicles coming too and from the QEU hospital, so I am always super alert to the traffic around me should I need to take action to allow anything with blue flashing lights to pass safely. You seem to have missed this in your own review. And it would appear that I wasn't the only person who noticed your poor driving when you undertook other cars, as they had also anticipated the road ahead long before you and all moved into the correct lane for the tunnel. You seemed to be the only driver that took that long to get in the correct lane. Perhaps you are not familiar with the road, but it well sign posted, the weather was clear (good visibility), and there was no large vehicles in your lane obstructing your view. No excuses for your poor driving and endangering others. This sort of thing happens all the time, and it doesn't bother me in the grand scale of things. But for someone who is supposed to be a professional driver given a certificate to train others, you should know better. But apparently not it would seem, hence my review. You are supposed to be setting an example for young and inexperienced drivers. We all need a better standard of drivers on our busy roads, and it begins with all instructors, professional or otherwise. And to Alex Cummings (reviewer): what do you mean by "we" exactly? We Scottish born and bred? What, like me? Having prejudices is a bad thing "Alex", and your one and only Google review here is blatantly manufactured for the sole purpose of helping out a friend improve their rating... or are you Tom himself? Either way, FAKE REVIEW ALERT! But to answer your remark, no I was not "hogging" the right hand lane. As I've already said in my review, the right hand lane on this stretch of road is for the Clyde Tunnel only whereas the left hand lane is for a number of other left turns only. The signage on this road makes this abundantly clear to all road users, whether they be familiar with the road or not. In summary, I and everyone else at that point were in the correct lane for the Clyde Tunnel, apart from our friend Tom. So "Alex", I really hope you're not a driving instructor also, as you've clearly no idea of correct lane discipline either.
