Best chippy Ive had in the local area clearly the people with disrespect for the place have a personal problem as Im always along and have NEVER had a problem! I buy takeaway near enough every day and never had anything fresher so I can only guess the bad reviews are from people who dislike their lives

I arrived to collect fish and chips(fish supper) at 4.45 on Monday 16th January. My journey home was 7 minutes by car. I was at my dining table within 12 minutes of buying the fish supper. The chips were luke warm hard and crispy. The fish was very dry and barely Luke warm. All this for 8.50. Very disappointing given good standard not too many months past. Will visit elsewhere next time

One of the worst chippy's we have had. Chips cold, tepid at best, looked awful.. tasted as if they'd been left out for hours. Curry sauce was very lumpy and tepid. Fish wasn't great but it was the only thing that wat hot. Also, the portion sizes are very small for the price you pay. We did also complain over the phone to let them know we wouldn't be back. They offered us some "fresh" chips which made us realise the chips we were served were "old". We also found it strange that they offered to only replace the cold chips but not the fish which would have been cold by the time we went to eat them together. We refused the offer of chips but weren't offered a refund or anything on the phone either. Definitely the worst chippy in the area, don't know how people can rate it highly. Avoid.
