We work with a lot of wedding planners and I must say, working with Lynsay was FANTASTIC. Everything was on-time, on-point and excellent quality. The event was STUNNING, the venue was gorgeous - all the little details were thought of & perfectly executed - every one of the guests had the time of their lives, thanks to Lynsays eye for detail & fantastic attitude. The entire event ran like clockwork - with a rare feeling that everything was under control - Lynsay was cool, calm & collected all day which should be highly commended! We very much look forward to working together at another Lynsay Borthwick wedding again soon!

Lynsay has staged and styled numerous weddings and events at Glencorse House & Old Kirk wedding venue now. Her attention to detail and styling is first class and nothing is ever too much trouble. We would highly recommend her to anyone thinking about venue styling, decoration and wedding or party planning.

Lynsay dressed our venue for us at Ruberslaw Wild Woods Camping in the Scottish Borders in August 2022. She was so professional and organised from the very first conversation and I just immediately felt like I could put my trust in her. She was really positive and reassuring in the lead up to the day and even helped out with things like suggesting caterers when our original caterer fell through and helping us source drink dispensers for cocktails. In terms of the dressing on the day, she was working with a pretty blank canvas, but transformed it into something incredible. It was romantic, whimsical and struck a perfect balance between feeling rustic and outdoorsy, but so elegant. She really understood exactly what we wanted and brought everything together perfectly. I genuinely almost cried when I first walked in and saw everything. It was absolutely perfect and I would have no hesitation recommending her to other couples (and actually already have done!) Lynsay, thank you so much for everything you did for us!! We got married at Peebles hydro last week, I saw Lynsay arrive at 7am and start unloading trucks and trucks worth of decorations- you worked so so hard to make our venue beautiful and everything I imagined and way more. Not only that but you helped me relax the week of the wedding by doing all of the last minute bits such as a table plan decoration, all the of the seat names and tables names. There was changes last minute and I was able to WhatsApp Lynsay and she got right on it. There is so much that goes into a wedding but along with the photographer Lynsay was invaluable on the day, I really have no idea what I wouldve done without her and best decision I made! Thank you thank you thank you!!!! I hope I have a picture from the photographer to eventually send of my face when I saw the turned over reception room- simply beautiful!

If you are looking for an OUTSTANDING and professional wedding planner, dcor supplier or on the day co-ordinator (or maybe even all 3!) Lynsay at Lynsay Borthwick Wedding and Events is your Lady! We cannot thank you enough for everything you did to help make our wedding such a brilliant day, from organising larger aspects to the very finest of details (ones that didnt even cross our minds, but were so important for the smooth running of the day!) We were absolutely blown away with the dcor transforming an empty agricultural shed to a Wedding Barn more spectacular than any wedding venue we had looked at. Challenged with the task of also having to decorate a second location for the ceremony in the garden, no job was too big or small for Lynsay! Lynsay also supported us with her on the day co-ordination keeping us running to time, ensuring guests were looked after and ensured the smooth running of the best day of our lives. Thank you a million times over! We would highly recommend you to anyone as you can tell you really love what you do, which is so important.
