Too many changes of staff, seem to have little interaction, knowledge or time for regular customers who require a bit more help

Didn't have the stock of what I wanted to buy which other pharmacies usually do. People skip you in the que and staff don't seem to care. Said hello and didn't get a response. Confusing set up as there are till points all over the place. Handy that it's open later on a Saturday though.

I use this pharmacy very frequently. The staff here are like wee worker bees, they literally never stop. It is such an extremely busy pharmacy, yet most staff will stop and be very professional and friendly. A pharmacist is always available and will stop their mountain of work to provide advice on medications, minor ailments, and over the counter treatments. The only issue I find quite challenging is they send out texts to say prescriptions are ready 10-15 minutes before the shop closes. Ive been waiting for a prescription, got the text and ran round as I has none of the item for over the weekend. I was met with an unhappy staff member, clearly annoyed that I was in the shop when they closed in 5 minutes. I was very friendly and apologetic, but I needed the medication, and the shop was not yet closed. People being unable to get their prescriptions has huge knock on effects. The elderly do not all have someone to chase it up , or arrange through out of hours. I appreciate the way the shop runs will be down to workload and staffing , but Boots should perhaps realise this results in unnecessary use of out of hours services at a time when those with urgent health problems cant get through .
